Helen Warren-Piper joined Premier Foods in 2012 and has focused on leading brand growth and innovation across well-known brands such as Bisto, Oxo, Batchelors, Homepride, Sharwood’s and Loyd Grossman. In 2014, she took on responsibility for the entire grocery portfolio, adding brands including Ambrosia and Angel Delight to her remit. She has 20 years experience in FMCG, having previously held roles at United Biscuits and starting her career at P&G in sales. “When I moved my career out of the sales function and into marketing within P&G, it was a big move to make but the best decision I’ve ever taken,” she says. “I was supported in the move with a full transition and training plan, enabling me to get off to a fast start.” Her biggest challenge now, she says, is culture. “I firmly believe in leadership at every level, encouraging people to think for themselves.”
