If a company needed a marketer with an extensive international brand development background, Patrick Bousquet-Chavanne would be it. He has 25 years’ experience working in London, Paris and New York at businesses including Estée Lauder Companies, overseeing some of its largest brands. Appointed to the M&S board in 2013, he took on the international remit in 2014. He outlines his greatest challenge as: “Transforming M&S into a global, modern, aspirational brand that can bridge generations with an engaging and relevant experience for today’s consumers. We are involved with the transformation of something very unique and deeply rooted in British culture.”
Best advice: "It takes courage to embrace change but the satisfaction and rewards can be truly exciting and empowering for an entire organisation."
