Patrick Kalotis has worked at some of the biggest food conglomerates, including Mars Confectionery, Coca-Cola, Danone and, since 2010, PepsiCo, initially as UK & Ireland group marketing director for juice and grains. One of his principles is to get people working together towards a common goal and building cross-functional teams that can really deliver on a vision. He is now global general manager of the juice category with responsibility for its strategic direction, P&L delivery, innovation, brand development and positioning.
Best advice: "Data and statistics can sometimes be the most scientific way of avoiding a confrontation with reality. I believe this was a fancy way of saying 'you also have to trust your gut'."
