Paul D’Arcy should be enjoying a large dose of professional pride. A former Dell and Apple executive and graduate of Harvard Business School, his day job involves helping applicants work on their personal brand to secure the position they are passionate about. Unsurprisingly, he is an industry mentor and not one to rest on his laurels. He says: “I’m humbled by the trust that nearly 200 million people put in Indeed as they look for jobs each month.” Neither is he complacent about his success thus far as he says his light-bulb moment was “realising how often my instincts and ideas are wrong which helped me to focus on measuring, continually testing new approaches, and encouraging everybody to contribute diverse ideas”.
Biggest challenge: “Measuring and understanding the combined effects of the discrete marketing programmes we run.”
