Richard Larcombe is currently working at Tesco Bank as brand and marketing director after joining in December last year. Prior to Tesco Bank, Larcombe worked at Virgin Media as marketing and brand director and spent six years working at News International as head of marketing for The Times, The Sunday Times and Times Online. He became marketing and brand director at a turbulent time for Virgin Media, as its new owner Liberty Global, which bought the telco for £15bn, aimed to be more “agile and nimble”. Larcombe says that there is no one destination for ideas, but visiting Palo Alto always helps.
