In charge of one of the most high-profile electronics brands outside Apple, Russell Taylor does not come from Silicon Valley stock like so many of the other new tech breed. He learned his craft at Unilever, where he spent a large portion of his time developing the Lynx brand. With the pace of electronic innovation only increasing, Taylor has to keep up not only with new products but new categories, as the latest smartwatch innovations are launched. “Having spent many years working on a brand known for the quality of its marketing, I am now working for one that is known for the quality of its products,” he says.
