Stephen Miron took over as the first CEO of Global in 2010 after its founder and CEO Ashley Tabor became executive president. Miron was previously chief executive of Global Radio and prior to joining the company had been managing director of the Mail on Sunday and Mail Online. In a bid to strengthen an initially weak radio advertising market, he rebranded Global’s national properties with the London-based but widely known Heart and Capital brands. Miron added to his role as CEO with a presidency of advertising charity Nabs in 2013. The charity provides career coaching and support in what is often a very high-pressured working environment. He also sits on the board of Universal Music and the advisory board of ad agency BBH.
Best advice: "Never stop networking and hire people smarter than yourself."
