BT’s sponsorship of the London 2012 Olympics wouldn’t have got off the ground if it hadn’t been for Suzi Williams convincing the board and stakeholders of the great opportunity for the brand. The achievements at the Olympics certainly paved the way for BT Sport. Other notable successes include the internal ‘The difference is you’ programme, which encourages BT employees to realise their importance to the business, no matter what their position. Williams left BT in October 2015.
