Vizeum wins Teletext search business

Vizeum has consolidated its hold on the Teletext Holidays media account by winning the company’s £3 million search business from The Search Works.

Vizeum already handles the bulk of Teletext’s media account. Teletext marketing director Ash Makkar says: “We need a partner that can help us understand, plan and execute all of the opportunities on and offline.

“It makes sense to have everything under one roof and Vizeum’s ability to provide us with an integrated perspective means they are best able to help us deliver marketing efficiencies right now.”

Teletext Holidays is owned by DMGT and has just appointed sales and distribution director Victoria Sanders to replace Matt Cheevers. Its advertising agency remains Clemmow Hornby Inge.

The Search Works was appointed to handle online travel company Opodo’s search business last April.
