Warner Village Cinemas is launching a &£2m marketing campaign to promote the opening of five multiplexes in the London area.
The advertising strategy takes in a &£600,000 sponsorship and advertising deal with London free newspaper Metro’s entertainment section Metro Life. The sponsorship begins on Friday (November 30).
The campaign, created by HDM Agency, aims to emphasise the sound and quality, comfort and service experienced at Warner Village multiplexes.
The chain’s corporate logo will appear in the daily listings section of Metro Life. Within the entertainment section there will be ads in appropriate locations, for instance “Warner Village The Best Sound In London” next to the gig listing.
The campaign includes outdoor and tube posters, local press ads and 20 wrapped cabs. Media planning and buying is through MediaCom.
