Why would anyone assume that something in iTunes would be as intuitive and easy to use as other Apple products? It has always been inferior to other players, which is why Spotify took off. It’s simple, quick and reliable.
The media is talking about Apple’s entry in the social networking fray with its new site, but this appears little more than a proprietary extension of Apple’s iTunes franchise.
Fair comments as a whole but it sounds as if Ruth is not a typical user. If the bands she likes aren’t on iTunes it would be hard for iTunes to suggest them to her.
