William Hill Bingo sponsors ITV’s The Real Deal

William Hill Bingo is sponsoring ITV1 daytime show The Real Deal. It will launch today (January 5) and run until mid-April.

The Real Deal is an antiques show where contestants have to decide whether to take an offer from an antiques dealer or send the item to auction. It is hosted by David Dickinson and is shown every weekday.

The idents, which have been created by Home, have the strapline, William Hill Bingo Thrill.

The sponsorship follows the company’s first TV deal last year with Spin Star, also an ITV1 show. William Hill Bingo says it has chosen The Real Deal because it offers similar demographics to Spin Star and fits with the target audience of potential home bingo players.

The company says: “For an initial foray in to actual programme sponsorship, we were very pleased with the response from the Spin Star association”.

It adds The Real Deal has the “potential for a far bigger audience with its current scheduling”.
