Yahoo appoints IDS’s Wildman as UK MD

Yahoo has announced that James Wildman will become MD and VP of sales for the UK and Ireland at the beginning of next year.

He’ll succeed current MD Mark Rabe, who’s scheduled to return to the US at the end of the year where he will continue to work for Yahoo.

Wildman has been tasked with continuing Yahoo’s strategy of striking content partnerships to attract consumers and advertisers.

“The business is clearly well set for deeper engagement with both consumers and advertiser,s with exciting new content such as Yahoo’s Lifestyle site,” he said.

Wildman joins from Virgin Media sales house IDS, where he has worked for the last ten years, and has experience of selling ad opportunities across various media platforms.
