Yahoo! global sales chief leaves in wake of restructures

Yahoo! head of global sales Gregory Coleman is leaving the company as part of a major restructure of the company that has led to a merger of the sales team with several other divisions. It will be responsible for a bulk of its revenue.

Coleman’s is the second senior depature from the sales division after the Wenda Harris Millard left in June. He will remain in place until February to handover the role.

The reorganisation, which is being led by new president Susan Decker, has the sales, publisher network, corporate partnerships, and HotJobs teams merged to form a “global partner solutions” division. It will be overseen by executive vice-president Hilary Schneider,

The division will provide an easier way for advertisers to reach customers through the sites of Yahoo’s partners, which include ebay, Comcast and a consortium of newspapers.
