Yazoo milkshake unveils 3.5m campaign

Milkshake brand Yazoo is launching a 3.5 million TV and outdoor advertising campaign next month.

Milkshake brand Yazoo is launching a £3.5 million TV and outdoor advertising campaign next month.

The campaign has been created by WFCA Integrated and shows a day in the life in a Yazoo cow and the extraordinary in which they are milked.

There will be supporting bus side activity running alongside a nationwide sampling campaign and on-pack promotions.

Yazoo brand owner Campina repositioned the milkshake last year with the help of WFCA. The company introduced overhauled packaging and a new formulation featuring fruit juice and no artificial sweeteners.
Marketing director for FrieselandCampina Marielle de Jong says: “The new TV advert should surprise and thrill our target audience. Not only is it reflective of the “fun” side of milkshakes but it also supports our core brand messaging that Yazoo offers all the goodness of milk, is low in fat and contains natural flavours and real fruit juice.”

Yazoo is now an £85 million brand and has a 42 per cent volume share in the impulse channel for flavoured milk.
