You ain’t never caught a rabbit you’re just a fibreglass canine

It may look like the type of thing advertised in Sunday newspaper magazines, advertised as “If the King was reincarnated as a dog”, with tins of cheeseburger dog food and a “lovingly crafted” wiggling pelvis, but the imaginatively titled “Hound Dog” has been created for an altogether more worthy cause.

Communications agency Imagination (GIC) was asked by Battersea Dogs & Cats Home to get involved with its Dog Parade auction party, in which more than 25 glass-fibre dogs designed by the likes of Sir Elton John, Orlando Bloom and Vivienne Westwood took part.

The agency was asked to get involved in the Dog Parade as it has worked with Battersea for the past three years, though where the Elvis idea came from is anyone’s guess. However, if you know an Elvis memorabilia collector who thinks he’s got everything, visit www.dogparade.co.uk and get bidding.
