The Enjoy Organic Company is “bringing a smile” to people who get parking tickets by putting victim support leaflets on their windscreens. These leaflets will entitle the unfortunate car owner to receive – wait for it – a bag of the company’s new tortilla chips. We wondered how a bag of dry Mexican crackers would help someone facing a fine. But it turns out the company is also paying the fine. However, the man who came up with the idea – Ian Hills – is referred to by the company as a “marketing honcho”. So, however bad you think your job is, spare a thought for Ian.
