Nokia appoints global head of advertising

Nokia has appointed Masterfoods marketer Jenny Williams as global head of advertising as the mobile phone company relocates the majority of its marketing team from Helsinki to the UK. Williams headed the Snickers brand at Masterfoods.

Financial Times names marketing director for Europe

The Financial Times has named Frances Brindle as its marketing director for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, and Adrian Clarke as European publisher. Brindle, who joins in January, has held several senior marketing positions, including marketing director for Barclays International Banking.
