ITC upholds ‘gremlins’ complaints

The Independent Television Commission has upheld 13 complaints claiming that an ad for the Department for Education and Skills, aimed at encouraging people to join training courses to overcome their reading and writing ‘gremlins’, frightened young children. The ITC has ruled that the ad should run only after 7.30pm.
