Primarily a world-leading conservatoire for the training of professional contemporary dance artists, Laban’s facilities include a 300-seat theatre and 12 studios offering light, bright, ultramodern venue solutions. Receptions for up to 400 can be held in the stylish and contemporary Foyer space, while the grounds, designed by Vogt Architects and incorporating a 200-seat amphitheatre, offer an impressive setting for summer events with the building providing a dramatic backdrop.

Laban by day and by night are dramatically different: by day, the building’s translucent outer skin allows natural daylight to flood through it, throwing energizing white and coloured light into the interior space. By night, the building becomes a striking coloured beacon, with light and movement spilling out, illuminating the surrounding area.

From product launches to press events, award ceremonies to away-days and champagne receptions to relaxed summer barbeques, Laban, ‘the coolest piece of architecture in the capital’ (Evening Standard), is an immaculate new venue that will guarantee your event is the one people are talking about.
