Tiffany sues Ebay

Tiffany is suing Ebay in the US, claiming that 73 per cent of items advertised as ‘Tiffany’ on the site are fake, and that Ebay is guilty of trademark infringement. Ebay, which says it has no legal responsibilities as it acts as a middle-man, faces similar action in Germany from Rolex.

Coca-Cola to buy water spring

Coca-Cola is believed to be in negotiations to buy a water spring site in Hadfield, Derbyshire. The company had to pull its purified bottled water Dasani from shelves in March following a contamination scare.
