Miles Young, chairman of Ogilvy & Mather Direct in the UK, is being promoted to president of Ogilvy & Mather Asia/Pacific from September (see Diary, page 28).

Lintas Brussels has won a 3.5m radio campaign on consumer rights from the European Commission. The campaign, to run in 12 of the 15 member states this year, will be handled by the agency’s specialist EC unit.

Airtours Tour Operations has confirmed that its media buying account has gone to the Media Centre (North), moving out of TCS Media (North), where it has been for nine years.

Brain’s Bitter, the Welsh-based cask-conditioned ale, is seeking an advertising agency.
