The software promotional push for all you Trekkies to Klingon to

Calling all Trekkies – Promotional Campaigns Group has come up with an out-of-this-world business idea. The sales promotion agency, headed by ex-Bates staffer Hugh Taylor, is offering to “Bring out the Klingon in You”.

When Iomega asked PCG to spice up the promotion of its Zip 100 software, with free Star Trek Creator game, the agency decided to go where no promotion had gone before: in-store customers under-went a computerised morphing process, which turned them into Klingons.

This opportunity is being offered to marketers, or Star Trek fans posing as marketers, interested in PCG’s capabilities.

For some, the result may be an improvement.
