Spirit Advertising

Spirit Advertising, the Greater London Authority (GLA) roster agency, has been appointed by Ken Livingstone to support his bid for re-election to London Mayor. Spirit has created a £100,000 print and poster ad campaign to back Livingstone. The ads use the tagline: ‘To Keep London Going Forward Vote Ken Back’. The campaign will reach its final stage today (Wednesday) before the mayoral elections tomorrow. Media is bought by GLA roster agency Pawson Media. It is understood that former Euro RSCG chief Mark Wnek, who is freelancing following the collapse of agency Ben Mark Orlando, has also offered advice to the Livingstone campaign through his connections with mayoral communications adviser Harry Barlow (MW April 8). Wnek oversaw Livingstone’s election campaign in 2000 as managing partner of then Euro RSCG Wnek Gosper.
