TBWA/London has created a national television campaign for the Tussauds Group to highlight the experience of visiting Warwick Castle.
The campaign is aimed at people who enjoy learning about medieval life but are put off by the conventions of stuffy, uninvolving “historical” attractions. Called “Trailer”, the ad was filmed entirely on location at Warwick Castle, using the performers who take part in the castle’s shows and events. In the form of an epic movie trailer, the ad is a dramatisation of all the castle has to offer.
Launching on April 6, the ad will run throughout April and July. The campaign’s media planning and buying was by Manning Gottlieb OMD.
