The Transport and General Workers Union has been forced to withdraw a radio ad asking car buyers to boycott Peugeot over the closure of the Ryton plant in Coventry. The ad, part of a &£1m campaign run by the union, breached radio advertising guidelines.

Yahoo Search Marketing’s vice-president for sales and marketing, Martin Child, is leaving the company at the end of the month. It is not clear if he has a job to go to. The news comes after the departure of Mark Chippendale, Yahoo! Europe’s regional vice-president of media sales.
