Marshall exits Publicis Dialog

Simon Marshall, chief executive of Publicis Dialog, is stepping down from the helm after seven years at the below-the-line agency to pursue other interests.

The agency is part of the Publicis Groupe and was set up eight years ago to specialise in direct marketing, digital, data and promotional marketing.

Marshall joined the company in 1999 as managing director and was made chief executive in 2005 after Dennis Kerslake left the role to become regional director of the Publicis network’s Hewlett Packard business in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Marshall was previously OgilvyOne regional client services director on its pan-European American Express business.

During his time at the agency, Marshall has seen it grow to 150 employees and sign clients such as Zurich, Renault, HP, Powergen, Jim Beam Brands and COI.

Kerslake, now agency chairman, says Marshall “played a huge part in the success of Publicis Dialog”.
