German domestic appliance maker Miele has handed its £3m UK advertising account to Poulters after a six-way pitch. The Leeds-based agency will develop a new brand building campaign for 2008 that will include television and print advertising.

The campaign will focus on “innovation, longevity and performance” across the company’s range of products. Miele manufactures vacuum cleaners, dishwashers, ovens, washing machines and coffee makers.

Poulters is part of Bezier, a marketing services group that employs 1,000 people. It is not known which agencies it pitched against to win the Miele business.
