LTB head of marketing axed in rejig

The London Tourist Board’s (LTB) head of marketing, Catriona Campbell, has been made redundant with two other senior staff following a restructure.

Campbell, head of finance Fran-cesca Mahoney and head of visitor services Sue Johnson have been axed because of a new structure introduced by managing director Paul Hopper, who joined in April from Legal & General.

The LTB has created a new post, head of business development, to devise joint advertising campaigns with partner bodies and boost recognition of the new London marque, unveiled in January.

“Our new organisation is designed to make us more flexible… to put greater resources behind the success of the new London brand,” says Hopper.

Hopper’s role will be increasingly focused on the promotion of London, provision of visitor services and liaison with members and partners, like the London boroughs.
