Saatchi & Saatchi is launching a 6m TV advertising campaign for Carlsberg Lager during the break in Friends on Channel 4 this Friday. The ad is the first for the brand since K Advertising, which originally handled the business, was folded into Saatchi earlier this year. Actor David Suchet, famous for playing Hercule Poirot in ITV’s Agatha Christie series, provides the voiceover for the ad, which resurrects the ‘probably’ tag line, not used since 1995. The ad shows aliens trying to take over the Carlsberg factory, triggering the Russian, US, and British military to join forces and take it back.
