As a loyal and loving wife, I was very concerned to read in last week’s Diary that life has been “a bit hectic” for my husband, Matthew Patten.
Since the recent birth of our fourth child, Matthew has been rushed off his feet with breakfast meetings and evening receptions, which often require him to stay overnight in London. To add to his misery, he tells me that he may be forced to undertake a European fact-finding tour with a key client.
What the poor dear needs is a little “peace and quiet” in the bosom of his family. Perhaps those nice Saatchi brothers could allow him to come home early once in a while.
