Saatchi loses its UK head of planning

Saatchi & Saatchi is looking for a new UK head of planning after moving Bobby Hui to an international role.

Saatchi & Saatchi is looking for a new UK head of planning after moving Bobby Hui to an international role.

Hui, a former European director of advertising for Coca-Cola, rejoined the agency at the start of last year with a brief to develop the department.

He was one of UK chairman and chief executive Lee Daley’s first appointments and replaced Jeremy Thorpe-Woods, who was handed a global planning role.

A spokeswoman for Saatchi & Saatchi refused to comment on Hui’s move but it is thought the agency will begin searching for a replacement in the coming weeks.

Hui, who was previously deputy head of planning at Saatchi & Saatchi, left Coca-Cola at the end of 2004 after just eight months as European director of advertising.
