Hooper Galton, which handles advertising business for National Express coaches, will not be affected by the decision and will continue to work on the company’s creative account.

National Express advertising manager Joby Russell said: “We are now working with CHI on our National Express Group brand strategy – trains, buses and coaches – to best leverage the equity within the coach brand, but the day-to-day campaign development for the coach business sits very firmly with our incumbent, Hooper Galton.”

Earlier this year, National Express Group hired the Media Planning Group to handle its £7m media planning and buying account following a three-way contest between MPG, MediaCom and Initiative.
