Rainey Kelly Campbell Roalfe/Y&R (RKCR/Y&R) has promoted chief operating officer Tony Harris to head of international business, following the appointment of Richard Exon to managing director of the agency.

In his new role Harris will be responsible for the agency’s international business, including Danone, Colgate and Xerox. He will continue to report to agency chief executive James Murphy.
Harris will also continue to lead the COI Communications business in the UK.
Harris joined the agency in 1998 and was previously a managing partner at RKCR/ Y&R. He was promoted to chief operating officer in 2005. Prior to that, Harris was a board account director at DDB for four-and-a-half years, and was poached by RKCR/Y&R to head its Scottish Courage business at the time.
He recently helped set up Swarm, the integrated agency at RKCR/Y&R, which opened with BT Business and Alfa Romeo as its clients.
The London agency has meanwhile also promoted Russell Hopson to deputy managing director.
