Infogrames Entertainment has appointed Euro RSCG C&O to boost the Atari brand around the world. The French agency will be responsible for developing the brand globally and helping devise strategy around a number of new product launches.
It is not clear how the appointment effects DraftFCB, which handles the account on a global basis.
Over the past year, Atari has struggled with high-profile departures and has been forced to hive off assets in a bid to streamline the business. Atari’s chief executive and president James Caparro left the games publisher in June. It has also sold off its Paradigm Studios to THQ Interactive and its Timeshift title was sold off.
