Marketing chief to leave Yahoo!

Online company Yahoo! has announced that chief marketing officer Cammie Dunaway leaves the company next week. No details of where she will be heading have been revealed.

 Online company Yahoo! has announced that chief marketing officer Cammie Dunaway leaves the company next week. No details of where she will be heading have been revealed.

Allen Olivo, vice-president of global brand marketing will take Dunaway’s place in the interim until a replacement is appointed. The company says: “Since joining Yahoo! in 2003, Cammie has built an award-winning direct marketing team; improved the company’s customer insights; and found creative ways to improve our brand. Cammie has strengthened the marketing function and built a strong bench of creative talent.”

Dunaway joined Yahoo! after 13 years at Frito-Lay, where she was credited with developing the “Bold and daring” campaign for Doritos in 2001. She also held the position of vice-president, general manager of children’s and teen brands.
