Celebrities Madonna (pictured) and Shakira are to feature in the latest global campaign for Sunsilk, which will also include Marilyn Monroe. Unilever will unveil the campaign next month.
The Life Can’t Wait campaign for the hair care brand will be launched at the US Superbowl on 3 February.
The series of ads, created by Paris agency Desgrippes Gobe, showcases the three women featuring some of their life-defining moments and emphasising their style. The creative work shows illustrated images of the women with the strapline “Some girls can’t wait to make life happen. Their hair tells their story”.
The campaign is intended to inspire women to “live their life to the fullest”, according to Unilever and the company is looking for with their own inspirational stories.
A website will go live on 1 February where women can post their own experiences and “Life Can’t Wait” moment, as part of a worldwide contest. The global winner, deemed to be the most inspiring, will go on to represent Sunsilk in the campaign.
Following its Superbowl debut, which will cost Unilever about £1.3m, the drive will extend globally, spanning three continents. The campaign is expected to go on air in the UK later this year.
