Thresher Group has appointed Superdrug marketer Vibha Hardaker as group marketing director. The appointment comes as the drinks retailers embarks on an overhaul of its brands.
Hardaker will report to Thresher Group trading director, Lloyd Stephens, and has a brief to underpin growth strategy as it three brands, Wine Rack, The Local and Threshers, are revamped.
Hardaker joins from AS Watson, where she was head of brand and responsible for in-store communications across the Superdrug and Savers businesses. Prior to AS Watson, she spent a decade at Tesco.
Thresher says it is launching a “customer-focused investment plan” to “transform its three brands. The company says the overhaul will create a new “look and feel” for each brand and will include improved store layouts and better product signs.
