Missing People, the charity organisation, is launching a national advertising campaign to help 12 families find their loved ones in 12 days.
The outdoor campaign has been created by Intelligent Marketing on a pro bono basis. The ads will feature on sites donated by Admedia.
It will launch on April 20 and feature 12 missing people, where they are from and when they were last seen.
The campaign will ask the public to donate a one-off gift of 5 via text.
Each 5 donation will provide six hours of support to missing children calling Missing People’s 24 Runaway Helpline, or will be used to produce campaign posters for two missing people.
The text mechanism has been provided by Kapow, a longstanding corporate supporter of the charity.
The ad will also include a tear-off to encourage people who may have seen the missing person being featured, to make contact. The campaign is being supported by a dedicated page on the charity’s website, with full details of each missing person and the option to donate or provide information securely online.
Missing People, formerly the National Missing Persons Helpline, was set up in 1993 and works to support missing children, vulnerable adults and families left in limbo.
