Trinity Mirror and News International have both appointed new marketers with Lorraine Fraser taking the reins for the former’s five national titles and Alex Lewis becoming marketing director for The Times.

Fraser has been appointed after the publisher merged the senior marketing functions for its Scottish titles and with the Daily Mirror, Sunday Mirror and The People.

She is currently sales and marketing director for the Scottish Daily Record and Sunday Mail. The restructure means Tim Anderson, head of marketing for Mirror Group Newspapers, will leave the company.

Fraser reports directly to Mark Hollinshead, managing director Trinity Mirror Nationals.

News International has recruited Lewis to handle marketing for The Times and The Sunday Times. She joins from BSkyB, where she was director of marketing.
