Your article on the growing use of apps and QR codes for exhibitions and other events (Innovation Update, MW 15 September) highlights a trend that we’ve seen growing for some time.
As well as the apps made specifically for trade shows to give extra information to attendees and get information from them, there are other ways in which mobile technology can be used to add value to events of any size.
QR codes can be created for each individual attending the event to make your invites personal. They can also be used after the event to analyse its success and send updated information to your CRM system.
Many of our small and medium-sized clients are finding event apps a great way to streamline the process, saving time and money, and using the intelligence they gather from their events to make their future events better.
