US online rich media specialist Klipmart is launching its services in the UK and plans to expand into the rest of Europe.
The company has opened a London office, hoping to tap into the growing demand for more sophisticated online advertising among entertainment, car and travel firms.
The number of rich media advertising companies in the UK is still relatively small, with Atlas, Eyeblaster, Tangozebra and PointRoll dominating the market.
Becca Ratcliffe, who previously worked at Klipmart in the US and at Grey London where she was account manager, will head the UK office and oversee Klipmart’s European expansion.
Klipmart’s clients in the US include the likes of General Motors, Warner Bros and IBM.
