BT is hitting back at its broadband rivals in an advertising campaign that launches across Scotland and Wales this week.

In the campaign, created by Abbott Mead Vickers.BBDO, BT claims it offers its best prices in areas where other providers do not. The theme of the campaign is “Broadband for everyone” and it will be rolled out in the national print media and on local television and radio before the end of the year.

BT claims it offers its best prices in 99% of Scotland but Sky only offers its best deals to about 9% of Scots, and Carphone Warehouse charges half the country &£10 extra.

BT Retail general manager of internet services John Hurry adds/ “At BT our prices are transparent. We want to let all our Scottish customers know that, unlike some broadband providers, we value their custom wherever they are.”
