John Lewis has appointed Manning Gottlieb OMD to handle its £15m media planning and buying business following a pitch. The review was overseen by media consultancy Billetts.
Burkitt DDB previously handled the retailer’s media planning, with buying through OMD. The final shortlist also included Universal McCann, BLM and Naked.
John Lewis recently shifted its creative work from Burkitt DDB to Lowe London, triggering the media review.
John Lewis-owned supermarket chain Waitrose hired Manning Gottleib OMD earlier this year to oversee its £9m media work.
