Vizeum wins 12m cruise brands account

Vizeum has won the 12m media planning account for Carnival Group Cruises, parent company of P&O Cruises. The appointment follows a pitch against incumbent Starcom, Carat, MindShare and Rocket.

Vizeum has won the £12m media planning account for Carnival Group Cruises, parent company of P&O Cruises. The appointment follows a pitch against incumbent Starcom, Carat, MindShare and Rocket.

Aegis-owned Vizeum will also work across Carnival brands including Cunard, Ocean Village and Princess Cruises. The review was overseen by media auditing company Fairbrother Lenz Eley and Philip Price, P&O Cruises head of brand marketing.

Vizeum’s success follows the reappointment of Miles Calcraft Briginshaw Duffy to the £7m advertising business for P&O Cruises. MCBD pitched against Red Brick Road, TBWA/London and Adam & Eve.

Carnival Cruises offers holidays to 90 destinations across Africa, Asia, South and Central America, the Middle East and Europe. It also offers round the world voyages, and its fleet includes the Aurora and Orianna liners.
