Clear Channel integrates top management posts at billboard and Taxi Media divisions

Outdoor advertising company Clear Channel has brought its billboard and taxi advertising divisions closer together within its administrative structure, in order to offer advertisers a more “co-ordinated solution” to buying outdoor advertising.

Managing director of billboards Jonathan Lewis will also oversee Taxi Media, while Taxi Media managing director Andrew Barnett becomes his deputy, running sales for the billboard division. Taxi Media sales director Lloyd Keisner will replace Barnett. Both Barnett and Keisner have been promoted to the board of Clear Channel Billboards – formerly called More O’Ferrall.

The move means that Clear Channel sales director Rob Rosenthal has left the company by “mutual consent”. Rosenthal joined Clear Channel less than a year ago from poster buying specialist Outdoor Focus.

The billboard division, currently based at Hendon, is to move into Clear Channel’s central London headquarters.

The reorganisation is a result of Clear Channel’s &£33.5m acquisition of Score Outdoor nearly a year ago, after which it rebranded both Score and More O’Ferrall under the Clear Channel name.

Clear Channel acquired Taxi Media in 2001 and merged it with Barnett’s Taxi Advertising, which it bought the previous year (MW April 13, 2000).
