Littlewoods puts bargains on the Web

Littlewoods is launching a website for bargain hunters in an effort to offer customers discounted products and make shopping more fun.

All Must Go will be part of the Littlewoods Extra website providing clothing, homeware and electrical products at reduced prices.

A Littlewoods spokeswoman says thousands of products will be available through the new section and they will not be out-of-date lines.

All Must Go will have three categories: star buys, a mixture of discounted products; hot products, limited editions; and make us an offer, where customers can make three bids on a product to buy it for the cheapest price possible.

Customers visiting Littlewoods stores will be handed leaflets about the new online discount range.

Littlewoods last year rebranded its stores, bringing the Index catalogue standalone shops under the company’s umbrella by renaming them Littlewoods Index.

Of the 98 Index stores, five were earmarked for closure and 35 have already been rebranded Littlewoods Extra. The rebranding of the remaining 58 Index stores is expected to be completed by next year.
