Lynx celebrates Facebook milestone with film

Lynx has launched a ‘Thank You’ film for its Facebook fans after becoming the first Unilever brand to reach one million fans on the social network in the UK and Ireland.

The video starts with the line “The one millionth Lynx effect’ and features a young man activating a machine in his bedroom. It sets off a chain reaction of references from Lynx products and past campaigns including the angel wings characters and the ‘Getting Dressed’ ad, which won the Golden Lion at Cannes 2004.

The TMW created film ends with the one millionth fan “getting the Lynx effect”, causing a woman to enter the scene and reveal the cast and crew who put the machine together.
